PUBLISHER'S NOTE
2011 was a turnabout year for THE 99. Once again, the kudos reached new heights with rave reviews for our made-from-TV movie THE 99: Unbound. The movie was created as a family-viewing lead-in to the now finished 26-episode first season of THE 99 animated cartoon series. We shared the movie ‘screener’ with some of our television licensees and before long we were invited to show it at film festivals from New York to Dubai. And everywhere we went, we received great notices…so much so that we were asked to release it as a theatrical property in motion picture theatres, which will happen first in Kuwait next month.




PEN PALS
Beginning today, you may write to THE 99 in your language and they will respond. It is all made possible by Google Translate. Soon, we will begin to host THE 99 Pen Pal Club so all THE 99 fans can speak directly with each other no matter what their language is or where they are on the planet. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, you can reach your favorite superhero by sending your email to superheroes@the99.org.
